This is my first trailer mod for ATS, based on a vastly improved version of my original for 18WoS:PTTM. It is standalone, though it makes use of existing base game cargos where appropriate. It includes a selection of original cargo models by myself as well as some adapted from the base game flatbed trailer.
Corby - Hendrickson Intraax suspension (heavily modified by Smarty)
SCS - Some cargo models from the ATS flatbed trailer
50keda for his invaluable support while learning SCS Blender Tools, and also for developing SCS Blender Tools
mwl4 for developing ConverterPIX which drastically simplified the process of importing/adapting SCS' cargo models
LMB for some advice on the hay cargo.
This mod adds a 1988 Utility 2000R 40' x 96" reefer trailer. It features an animated Thermo King Super II refrigeration unit, advanced coupling, and full use of the trailer paintjob system's current feature set.
When my wheel pack is installed with higher priority, custom wheels are applied to this trailer.
Information about older Canadian semitrailers is scarce on the internet, but if you look through enough 1980’s/90’s Canadian trucking photos, the distinctive SuperVan 90 wordmark is likely to catch your eye more than a few times. As far as I know, these would have been made in the Brampton, ON plant starting in the early 80’s.
This mod adds two variants of a classic Canadian dry van: one with a 2+1 midlift (non-steer) axle configuration and one with a tridem, both 48′ x 102″. Naturally, this mod fully supports advanced coupling and trailer paint jobs and, of course, it is fully stand-alone.
This is a thorough rework of Corby′s Tremcar food grade tanker with a drastically lower poly count, tweaked proportions, and some texture/material work that I′m fairly happy with. It uses the base game milk cargo, supports advanced coupling and has animated landing gear — all that good stuff.
The overall poly count is around 24,000 tri′s and the texture memory footprint is around 2.1MB. It should have similar performance to any of my previous trailers (if not slightly better due to fewer draw calls) — comparable to the Schwarzmüller DLC trailers in ETS2.
